Dean heads to the heart of the Swan Valley to visit Elmar’s in the Valley.

• Established in 2005 and home of German tradition and culture, Elmar’s in the Valley is owned by Elmar and Anette Dieren who migrated to Australia from Germany in 1987.
• Elmar’s Beer is made in accordance to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516 meaning that it comprises only of water, malt, yeast and hops.
• All beer is brewed onsite using ingredients imported directly from Germany; the only item that is not German is the water, in accordance to Australian law.
• The beer garden is where authentic German food and culture meets WA’s love for a relaxed outdoor lifestyle and beautiful climate. With over two hectares of space it’s the biggest beer garden in the Swan Valley.
