Stuart shares a delicious recipe for Chicken and cheese corn dogs that the whole family is bound to enjoy.

There’s more than one way to enjoy Mt Barker Chicken Kransky sausages, today we are making some quick and easy corndogs.

Chicken and Cheese Corn Dogs


1 packet of Mt Barker Chicken Kransky Sausages
1 1/2 cups fine yellow corn meal (polenta)
1 1/4 cups gluten free flour
1/4 cup caster sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 3/4 cups buttermilk
1 large egg
1ltr vegetable oil
Tomato sauce


  1. Partially cook your sausage in a pan with a small amount of oil and set aside.
  2. Prepare the batter for the corn dogs by combining buttermilk, egg, baking powder, gluten free flour, yellow corn meal and salt and whisk until combined.
  3. Skewer the sausages and lightly dust with flour so the batter sticks to the sausages.
  4. Carefully place the coasted sausages in a pot filled with hot vegetable oil and fry the sausages until golden brown and puffed.
  5. Drizzle with tomato sauce and serve.
